Throughout the year, the American Jersey Cattle Association presents awards for Jersey youth shows and production and judging contests.

For junior shows at county, district, and state levels, the AJCA will provide ribbons for the first, second, and third place animals, plus a Grand Champion rosette. In addition to the rosette, a special award is provided for the Grand Champion at state fairs and AJCA-designated regional shows. Awards are also provided for showmanship contests exclusively for Jersey juniors.

Awards must be requested annually. Contact the AJCA Youth Programs Coordinator at 614/322-4456. You can also request awards online, or send a request to info@usjersey.com at least two weeks in advance of the event.

Regretfully, requests made within two weeks of the show or event cannot be filled.
