BREEDING WARRANTY: All animals are sold
“as is” in regard to pregnancy or breeding status. No animals are
guaranteed pregnant, to breed, to deliver normal calves, or to carry calves
to term. However, animals that have been bred for a reasonable period
of time may be checked by a licensed veterinarian and diagnosis provided,
but not guaranteed.
TITLE WARRANTY: The seller of the animal warrants clear title to the animal and the right to sell the same. HEALTH CERTIFICATE: The seller will provide to the buyer an official health certificate for interstate shipment of each animal. No warranty is made as to the condition or health of the animal or the result of any future health test or as to the condition of an animal’s udder following calving. Herd and/or area accreditation certification status and calfhood vaccination status can be provided. SHIPPING: Assistance will be given in loading and shipping animals, but no risk is assumed by anyone associated with the sale, including Jersey Marketing Service. All costs, risks, and responsibilities are borne by the buyer. Transportation charges on all animals shall be paid by the buyer, unless, other arrangements are made. RESPONSIBILITY: Jersey Marketing Service acts as an agent only and is not responsible for the title, condition, quality, fitness, or productiveness of any animal or other items sold. PAYMENT: The terms of the sale are cash, check, or wire transfer for the full purchase price in U.S. funds received by Jersey Marketing Service before animals are shipped to the buyer. The seller shall not be entitled to payment until Jersey Marketing Service has received properly completed applications for registration, transfers, and production transfers. WARRANTIES: The seller and Jersey Marketing Service make no other warranties, express or implied, including without limitation, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. |
